Janice Marie Woodruff, age 85, of Wyalusing, PA passed away Monday evening, April 8, 2019 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital.

Janice was born on July 18, 1933 in Friendsville, PA the daughter of the late Howard J. (d. 1952) and Isabelle M. Larrabee Dixon (d. 1999).

She married Clifford H. Woodruff, Sr. in 1949 and they were together for 53 years before his passing on November 9, 2002. Together they raised three children. She was employed with Sylvania as a Wire Drawer for many years before retiring in 1993.

Janice loved to take care of her lawn and flower garden. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and watching old TV shows and game shows. Her and her husband took great pleasure in traveling to Canada and visiting family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Florida. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family especially for Sunday dinners and holidays.

She is survived by her children, Clifford H. Woodruff, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Laceyville, PA, Judy Hamilton and her husband Roger of Canton, PA, and Bonnie Woodruff of Clarks Summit, PA; her grandchildren, Clifford H. Woodruff, III (Cindy) of Frederick, MD, Daniel Woodruff, of Michigan, Vicki Millard of Lansdale, PA, Leroy "Jim" Armitage of Binghamton, NY, Melanie Ann Salmi (Clint) of Hancock, MI; her great-grandchildren, Colin Woodruff, Logan Woodruff, Heather Woodruff, Miranda Woodruff, Paige Millard, McKenzi Millard, Elana Armitage, Nicholas Armitage, Sydney Salmi, Trinity-Oliver Shinkle, and Peyton Salmi; her sisters, Myrna Kinney of Herrickville, PA and Nancy Sarnosky of Meshoppen, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by grandson, Randy Woodruff (d. February 1, 2017), and her sisters, Beva Preston and Lillian Dixon.

Abiding by the wishes of Janice there will be a private funeral service and internment at the Camptown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
