Jason Lee Smith, age 42, of Laceyville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home on Second Street.
Jason was born on June 30, 1975 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Sharon Smith Causer, who passed away in September of 2012. He attended Wyalusing Valley High School. Jason had two daughters, Sierra and Jade Smith. Jason loved to watch television and movies. He loved action and horror movies. He loved all kinds of music ranging from the oldies to modern day country. Jason would collect anything with an eagle on it. He was known as a bit of a story teller by his family.
Jason is survived by his two daughters, Sierra Michelle Smith of Dushore, PA; Jade Summer Smith of Rome, PA; his brother Robert Walter Jr. of Springville, PA; his sister Shelly Walter of York, S.C.; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also surviving is very close friend Jamie Perham of Sayre, PA.
Memorial services will be held on Friday evening, February 9, 2018 at 7:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00PM until the time of the service.
