Jeffrey Michael Volutza, formally of Reading, PA, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 19, 2026, at the Bradford Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, PA where he had been residing for the last few years. 

Jeffrey was born on August 23, 1969, in Reading, PA. He was the son of Joseph Volutza and the late Susan Stoyko Volutza (d. April 2004). Jeffrey graduated from the Antietam Valley Senior High School and continued his education at Misericordia University, earning an associate degree. 

He was last employed as a baggage loader at the Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey. 

Jeffrey was an avid fisherman and loved playing soccer and tennis. He was a 1st Class Star in Troop 209, BSA at 5th & Spring School in Reading in his younger school days. He was also a lifelong Philadelphia Flyers fan. 

Jeffrey is survived by his father, Joseph Volutza, and his stepmother, Joyce Adams Volutza, of Laceyville, PA. 

Besides his mother, Jeffrey is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory S. Volutza (d. January 2003). 

As per Jeffrey's wishes, there will be no services at this time. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading, PA. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeffrey's mother, Susan's memory at the ALS Association, 1919 University Ave W., Suite 175, St. Paul, MN 55104.
