Johnnie Heeman III (PeeWee), age 53, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his home.

Johnnie was born on July 16, 1965, the son of Johnnie (Tinker) Heeman Jr. (Johanna) of Wyalusing, PA and Theresa Wright Oakley (Robert) of Lakeland, FL. Johnnie attended Wyalusing Valley High School. On May 26, 1984 he married the former Vickie Bailey and together they have four children.

PeeWee was the owner and operator of Heeman Quarries. He attended Calvary Chapel in Wyalusing, PA. He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). He loved his Peterbilt Truck. He built his own smoker and he would barbeque various kinds of meat in it. PeeWee loved to hunt and fish, but fishing was his favorite. But most of all, PeeWee loved being with his family.

Besides his parents, PeeWee is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vickie Heeman of Wyalusing, PA; his four children Chauncey Spearing and her fiancé Greg Naylor of Bear Creek, PA; Johnnie Heeman IV and his fiancé Michelle Fassett, of Wyalusing, PA they are to be married on October 13, 2018; Brent Heeman and his wife Autumn of Laceyville, PA; Kevin Heeman of Wyalusing, PA; grandchildren Aubrey, Brielle, Kaitlin, Johnnie V., Maddison, Bella, Lily, Bradyn, Avery, and Bristyn. He is also survived by his sisters Melissa Dworak of Dunmore, PA; Sonya Heeman of Port Aransas, TX; mother-in-law Sarah Herman of Towanda, PA; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. PeeWee was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Johnnie and Emma Heeman Sr.; maternal grandparents Leroy and Lena Wright; and father-in-law Clyde Herman.

Funeral services for PeeWee will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM from Sheldon Funeral Homes, 155 Church Street, Wyalusing, PA with Reverend John McAndrew of the Calvary Chapel officiating. Interment will follow at Wyalusing Borough Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
