Joseph J. Petrikonis III, age 49, of Laceyville, passed away at his residence on Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2023.

He was born on December 4, 1973, the son of Joseph Petrikonis Jr. and the late Marianne Baloh Petrikonis (d. March 20, 2019).  Joseph attended Wyoming Valley West High School and graduated with the class of 1991.  He would later work for Pikes Creek Contractors in Hunlock Creek as a lab technician and Brickhouse Services in Laceyville.

Joseph was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and ride his ATV.

Along with his father, Joseph is survived by his brother, Christopher Petrikonis of Maine; his companion, Lisa Alberico of Old Forge, PA; and his best friend, Mike Snyder.

Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nicole Plesic Petrikonis (d. December 22, 2019).
