Obituary
Julie Kathleen Heft Ryan, age 46, of Route 367, Laceyville, PA., passed away suddenly at her home, in Tuscarora twp., Bradford Co., on Tuesday evening February 24, 2015.
Julie was born in Flemington, NJ, in Hunterdon County, on November 15, 1968 the daughter of Ruth Kathleen Kupcha Heft of Main St., Laceyville, PA, and the late Robert L. Heft Sr., who passed away on August 10, 2004.
Moving to Laceyville, at an early age, Julie attended the Wyalusing Valley High School. From 1992 until 1999, Julie was a security guard at Procter and Gamble, in Mehoopany, PA.
In her spare time, she enjoyed her flowers, loved to go to yard sales, antiquing, and most of all, Julie loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her many grandchildren.
Surviving besides her mother is her long time companion, Jim Profitt of Laceyville, PA. her children, Danielle L. Ryan and Kimber K. Ryan both of Laceyville, PA.; Jordan G. Brown, of Mehoopany, PA; Alan D. Profitt, of Aiken, SC; Julie R. Carter, and Geneva L. Smith both of Laceyville, PA; and 15 grandchildren. Julie is also survived by her brother and his wife, Robert L. and Jamie Heft Jr., of Lawton, PA, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Caitlyn E. Heft, who passed away on February 21, 1991, her Maternal Grandparents, Elenora and Joseph Kupcha; and Paternal Grandparents, Nellie and Howard Heft.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 12:00 noon, at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA with Rev. Charles Bishop of the Transue Community Church officiating. Interment will be in the North Flat Cemetery in Laceyville, PA, at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, on Tuesday morning, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the Wyoming County Humane Society, PO Box 478, Tunkhannock, PA. 18657.
