Obituary
Kay Ann Koup Pennay, age 60, of Barton, NY (formerly of Laceyville, PA) passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2016.
She was born on October 26, 1956 in Meshoppen, PA the daughter of the late Westle and Eleanor L. Bailey Koup.
Kay attended Wyalusing Valley High School. She was most recently employed with the Williams Company and managed payroll. Previously she was the District Secretary with Ames.
She enjoyed to camp and watch NASCAR races especially her favorite driver Jeff Gordon. She liked to take trips to Florida with her family. She loved her family and friends and especially loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.
Kay is survived by her daughters Nicole A. Armitage and her significant other Michael Britt of Elmira, NY and Jamie Armitage Cotto and her husband Nick of Barton, NY; her grandchildren Dillin Armitage of Laceyville, PA, Destiny Cotto of Sayre, PA, Nick Cotto, Jr. of Barton, NY, Alexis Cotto Barton, NY, Michael Britt III of Elmira, NY and one more granddaughter, Kayannah Britt, on the way. Her siblings Charlene Garner of Sunbury, PA, Ronald Koup of Laceyville, PA, Larry Koup of Laceyville, PA, Sandy Brown and her husband Floyd of Montrose, PA, and Joyce Burnside and her husband Jim of Towanda, PA; her uncle Richard Eberlin and his wife Pat of Laceyville, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Alex Cotto, her brother-in-law, Jim Garner, and her niece Lori Secord.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville with Lay Minister Vickie Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at the Lacey Street Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Kay's name to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 1331 East Wyoming Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19124.
