Kermit L. Goodenough of Camptown, PA passed away, Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Bradford County Manor in Troy, PA.
He was born on September 9, 1937 in Camptown, PA the son of the late George L. and Margaret "Helen" Becker Goodenough. He graduated from Camptown High School with the class of 1955.
Kermit was employed as an Offset Pressman with Endicott Johnson and General Electric for over 25 years. After his retirement from General Electric Kermit work for Taylor Beef (now Cargill) as a Security Guard.
He was a member of the North Orwell Union Church, the NRA, and the Yellowstone Foundation. Kermit took great pleasure in traveling out west to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Park. He also enjoyed hunting, especially in Wyoming. He enjoyed raising his Hereford cattle. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family
Kermit is survived by his wife, Loretta Pembleton Goodenough of Zephyr Hills, FL, his son Robert L. Goodenough and his companion Christine Duffy of Terrytown, PA; his daughter Phyllis K. Spencer and her husband James of Wyalusing, PA; his grandchildren, Melissa Showalter and her husband Alan of Wyalusing, PA and Lucas Spencer and his wife Brandy of Wyalusing, PA; and his great-grand children, Mitchell and Matthew Spencer of Camptown, PA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Felicia Liddick Goodenough, on April 1, 2011.
There will be a graveside service held at the Camptown Cemetery on a later date at the convenience of the family.
