Ladonna C. Jayne, age 69, of Laceyville, PA passed away at her home on Monday morning December 14, 2015 surrounded by her daughters and neighbor and faithful friend Sandi English.

Ladonna was born on March 7, 1946 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late A. William (passed away December 24, 1975) and Alice M. Beaumont Gray (passed away January 6, 1999). She graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1964.

After graduating high school Ladonna attended the Empire Beauty School in Binghamton, NY in 1964 and Scranton, PA in 1965. She was a woman of many talents as she owned Ladonna's Beauty Salon in Wyalusing, PA; she also owned and operated Jayne's Ceramics on Lacey Street (Laceyville) for over 25 years. Ladonna also baked specialty cakes for several years. She worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Tunkhannock, PA for over 10 years while serving as Director for the facility for five years up until her retirement on October 1, 2014.

Ladonna actively volunteered for the Laceyville Elementary PTO and served on the Laceyville Library Board of Directors. She was a member of the Laceyville Business Association and also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader. Ladonna loved being around her family and her many friends but her granddaughters were a huge part of her life.

Ladonna is survived by her daughters Delaina Jayne and her husband Duane Naugle Jr. and Delicia Brown and her husband Chris all of Laceyville, PA. She is also survived by her granddaughters Meira Naugle, Nadia Brown, Elliana Brown, Abriella Brown, and Aliza Brown all of Laceyville, PA; her brother Patrick Gray and Ron Korenich of Pittsburgh, PA; sister Adelinda Young and her husband Karl of Englewood, FL; very dear friend Millie Goodwin of Laceyville, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Ladonna is preceded in death by her brother Larrison (Larry) Gray; her aunt Margaret Gray; and her uncle Paul Gray.

Funeral services for Ladonna will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main Street, Laceyville, PA with Lay Minister Vickie Ellis of the Beaver Meadows United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Lacey Street Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
