Lesley “Punch” Lee Hotaling, age 66, of Wyalusing, PA passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Towanda Campus.

Les was born on October 4, 1959 in Volney, NY. He was the son of the late Arlene Hotaling McMillan and step son of the late Gary McMillan. He was born and raised in New York and attending school in Fulton, NY.

He met the love of his life 44 years ago, Mabelle Rosencrance and together they raised 5 children. Les was employed with Laceyville Hardware and Floor Covering as a Flooring Installation Technician and worked in construction with Thor Trowbridge for many years.

In his spare time Les enjoyed gardening and target shooting. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Les is survived by his wife, Mabelle Rosencrance; his children, Amelia Hotaling of Dallas, PA, Emily Hotaling (Jeremiah Coats) of Laceyville, PA, Lanny Hotaling (Erica) of Towanda, PA, Jessica Hotaling (Rio Standefer) of Auburn, PA, and Patrice Hotaling (Jeremiah Layaou) of Tunkhannock, PA; his grandchildren, Parker, Harper, Kadyn, Ireland, Blake, Landon, Madison, Abigale, Eloise, Noah, Indira, Serenity, Owen, Eliza, and Sophia; his siblings, Robert Sheltra of Alaska, Robin Sheltra of Wyalusing, PA, and Richard McMillan of Florida; his brothers/sisters-in-law, Matthew and Heather Rosencrance of Wyalusing, PA, Eilene and John Sullivan of Chula Vista, CA, Annie Rosencrance of Stevensville, PA and Mary and Jason Robinson of Laceyville, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his mother and step-father he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lanny Woodruff, Larry Woodruff, Lindy Newhall, and Lisa Sheltra; his father/mother-in-law, Dale “Juby” and Sally Rosencrance; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Rosencrance, Pete Rosencrance, and Patrick Rosencrance.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
