Lindy L. Heeman, Sr., age 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home in West Auburn, PA on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

Lindy was born on December 26, 1958 in Troy, PA the son of the late, John and Emma Merrit Heeman, Sr.  He attended Wyalusing Valley High School.

He was employed as a Quarryman for several years with Bill Walter and retired after employment with Jerry Johnson Quarries.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, building birdhouses, and playing guitar.  He loved to spend time with his family.

Lindy is survived by his spouse, Tammy Gregory, whom he has been together with for 21 years; his children and spouses, Emma and Michael Adams of New Albany, PA, Sandra and Manuel Castro of Warren Center, PA, Mariah Heeman of West Auburn, PA, Billy and Nancy Harvey of State College, PA, and Melissa Mendoza of Scranton, PA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings and spouses, Johnnie "Tinker" and Johanna Heeman, Jr. of Wyalusing, PA, Anna Mae Johnson of Wyalusing, PA, Fred and Betty Heeman of Monroeton, PA,  and Sandy and Larry Albert of Dillsburg, PA, and Larry Heeman of West Auburn, PA.  He is also survived by his extended family, his father/mother-in-law, George and Carol Gregory, II of Meshoppen, PA; his brothers/sisters-in-law, Loretta Cobb of Meshoppen, PA, George Gregory III of Meshoppen, PA, Heather Gregory and Rich Goga of Port Dickinson, NY, and Todd Gregory of Meshoppen, PA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Lindy Heeman, Jr. (d. 2002) and Kevin Heeman (d. 2020).

A Memorial Service for Lindy will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the New Hope Ministries with Reverend Tim Barnett of the church officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Lindy's name to the True Friends Animal Welfare, 16332 PA-706, Montrose, PA 18801.
