Obituary

Lyall W. Brink, Sr., age 77, of 1704 Brink Billings Creek Rd, Wyalusing, PA passed away at his home in Camptown, Herrick twp., on Tuesday evening, June 19, 2012.
Lyall was born on October 13, 1934 in Towanda. He was the son of the late Leland and Ethel Furman Brink.
He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School Class of 1953. After high school Lyall joined the US Army. While serving his country he was stationed in Germany for 18 months.
Lyall was a self employed logger with his company Lyall Brink Logging for over 40 years. Lyall worked all over northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New York. He last worked together with AC Crosley and Sons Logging, with their main office being in Binghamton, NY.
Lyall was a member of the Monroeton Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of the Bradford County Township Supervisor Association. For 18 years he served Herrick Township, as a Supervisor and also as their Roadmaster.
He thoroughly enjoyed attending the Horse and Tractor Pulls, over the years, and also hunting, in his younger years. Lyall was always on time for a joke or a good laugh. Most of all he loved to be around his family, especially the many family outings and picnics.
Lyall is survived by his children Charles (Julie) Ingham of Camptown, PA, John (Vicki Schley) Ingham of South Williamsport, PA, Jeanne (Tony) DeRemer of Laceyville, PA, Lyall "Jake" (Cindy) Brink, Jr. of Towanda, PA, and Lynn (Larry) Westbrook of New Albany, PA; his brothers Raymond (Sally) Brink, of Wyalusing, PA and Glenn (JoAnn) Brink of Wyalusing, PA; sisters Joyce (A.B.) Stephens of Wyalusing, PA, and Mary Ann Karpovich of Dushore, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Lyall is preceded in death by his wife Jeannine "Ann" Brown Ingham Brink who passed away on March 29, 2005, who he missed everyday since her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville, PA with Pastor William Westbrook of the Camptown Charge of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Camptown Cemetery with Graveside Military Services to be provided by the Wyalusing Post# 534 American Legion. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
