Lyle Terry Wells, age 75, of Wyalusing, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Lyle was born on January 20, 1951 in Sayre, PA. He was the son of the late Russell and Jeanetta Canfield Wells. Lyle’s father was in the Army and the family moved to different places throughout the country. He was a graduate of Evans High School in Georgia, but his favorite place to live was in Alaska.

He was a Machinist for over 40 years at Osram/Sylvania. In his spare time, he coached his children in Little League and Junior High Football. He was an avid hunter and faithfully followed Penn State athletics and his grandchildren wrestling, swimming, and baseball. He loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy in which they absolutely adored him.

Lyle is survived by his children and spouses, Cheri and Matt Fagan of Bloomsburg, PA and Adam and Elizabeth Wells of Wyalusing, PA; step-children, Nicole and Ryan Schrader of Canton, PA and Nathan and Missy Ross of Sayre, PA; his grandchildren, Brooke and Samantha Fagan, Lila Ellis (Tyler), Isaiah Harvey, Brenden, Paisley and Adam Wells, Alex Schrader (Corbyn), Zachary Schrader (Emily), Brandon Schrader (Angelina), Cameron, Peyton, Elijah, and Collins Ross; his great-grandchildren, Oakley, Laykyn and Blayklee Ellis, Ryan, Jackson, and Grant Schrader, and Alexandria Schrader; his sister, Valinda Zehe (Mark); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” L. Binford Wells (d. July 6, 2024), his great-grandchild, Liam Robert Schrader, and his brother, Michael Wells.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday March 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM from the Lime Hill Cemetery with Pastor Arnie Johnson officiating.
