Malcolm "Mac" E. Keeney, age 72, of Sugar Run, PA passed away, Monday morning, May 2, 2016 at his home.

Mac was born on August 20, 1943 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Burton L. and Helen Trowbridge Keeney. He was a graduate of Wyalusing High School with the class of 1961.

He operated the Keeney family farm on Spring Hill, PA for many years. He also drove truck for his father and uncle as well as for Hatfield Packing in Philadelphia, PA.

Mac was a member of the Terrytown Baptist Church. He was a former member of the PA Farmers Association. He liked to fish and he loved animals. Over the years he even raised pet deer.

Mac is survived by his sister Sally Turner and her husband Anthony of Sugar Run, PA; his nieces Sue Turner of Sugar Run, PA and Yvonne Johnson and her husband Dean of Sugar Run, PA; his nephews Tom Keeney of Watertown, NY, Ray Keeney of Benton, PA, Alan Keeney of Sugar Run, PA and Jack Keeney of Browntown, PA; his great nephews Cameron Turner and Jake Johnson both of Sugar Run, PA; and his very special friend Sue Salsman of Camptown, PA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Romaine Flanigan and Laura.

It was Mac's wishes not have any services. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
