Mrs. Margaret M. Beck, age 95 of Ruger Hollow, Laceyville, PA, passed away at her home in Tuscarora twp., Bradford Co., PA. on Saturday morning, July 23, 2016, with her family at her side.

Margaret was born in Philadelphia, PA. on September 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Krebs Barde. Most of her life was spent in Philadelphia, where she grew up, and attended school. For many years, Margaret was employed by ITE Circuit Breaker, in Philadelphia, PA, where she worked as a circuit breaker tester, until her retirement in 1986. During her employment she was a member of the UAW Union, in Philadelphia.

Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Otto Schneider; and her second husband, Charles (Chick) Beck. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Schneider, and her granddaughter, Diane Schauer Devlin.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching the birds and wildlife around her home, and especially the company of her many friends, the Crew of Edinger Hill, and her family, with whom she will be missed very much.

Surviving is her daughter and son in law, with whom she lived, Margaret and Ned Boryschuk, of Laceyville, PA; her daughter in law, Mary Schneider, of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, George (Mary) Schauer, of Kunkletown, PA; Christopher (Dorothy) Schauer, of Greentown, PA; Christine Schneider King, of Philadelphia, PA; and Charles Schneider, of Philadelphia, PA; also 11 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great Great-Grandchildren.

Memorial services and interment will take place at a later date at the convenience of her family.
