Obit for Margaret Taylor Honeywell (91)

Margaret Taylor Honeywell, age 91, formerly of Laceyville, PA passed away early Sunday morning, December 16, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock, PA where she had been a resident for the last two years.
Margaret was born on April 9, 1921 the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Harris Goodwin in Endicott, NY.
She worked in many of the local sewing factories in Laceyville, Meshoppen, and Black Walnut before she retired in 1983.
Margaret lived in Laceyville on Doolittle Hill until the death of her husband Edward F. Honeywell (June 6, 1988). She then moved to her daughter and son in law's house on Golden Hill.
She was a member of the Rought Hall Post # 510 American Legion Auxiliary in Black Walnut, PA. She also loved to do crafts and spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her four daughters: Janice Godown of Plains, PA, Carole Brek and her husband Tim of Kingston, PA, Linda Salsman and her husband Roger of Laceyville, and Cathy Gay and her husband Scott of Orwell, OH; her son Edward "Skip" Honeywell, Jr. of Laceyville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; her brother Jesse "Jake" Goodwin and his wife Millie of Laceyville; her sisters Helen Newhart of Camptown, PA and Hettie Tinna of Wyalusing, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Mary Lorraine Honeywell, a sister Gertrude Pennay, a son in law Albert Godown, and two brothers in law Frank Newhart and Harold (Bim) Tinna.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA. Interment and graveside services will follow at the Lacey St. Cemetery.
