Marie Louise (Thomas) Gowin (45)

Marie Louise (Thomas) Gowin, age 45, of 1016 Church Rd., Laceyville, PA passed away early Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.
She was born on November 21, 1967 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late George (May 16, 1988) and Lucile M. McCreary Thomas, Sr. (May 9, 2009).
Marie was a homemaker for her husband Timothy P. Gowin. She also worked for Kelly Temporary Services at the Proctor & Gamble Plant in Mehoopany, PA and NEPP Wire in Meshoppen, PA.
Marie enjoyed doing artwork, especially drawing. She took great pleasure in playing the guitar and the keyboard. She also liked to fish and hunt. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Tim.
Marie is survived by her husband, Tim, her step-brother George Thomas and his wife Mary of Laceyville, PA, her step-sister Judy Bauman and her husband Michael, Sr. of Meshoppen, PA, many nieces and nephews, and close friends Kathy Carnevale of Meshoppen, PA and the Sincavage family also of Meshoppen. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her step-sister Sharon Brostoski.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen, PA with Rev. Thomas Mott of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers those wishing can make memorial donations in Marie's name to the DaVita Dialysis Unit c/o Tyler Memorial Hospital, 5950 SR 6, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 or American Diabetes Association, PO Box 4383, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18018.
