Marion T. Stone Wygrala, age 96, of Laceyville, PA passed away early Saturday morning August 23, 2014 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at the Towanda Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA.

She was born the daughter of the late Floyd and Anna Lott Stone on July 7, 1918 in Bowman Hollow, Forkston Township, PA. Growing up near Mehoopany, Marion was a graduate of Mehoopany High school in 1936. She spent her life as a housewife and homemaker for her late husband Walter P. Wygrala (October 6, 1981) and children.

She was a member of the Braintrim Baptist Church in Laceyville, PA. Marion enjoyed completing word searches, playing bingo, and taking care of flowers in her garden.

Surviving is her son Dennis and his wife Beatrice Wygrala of Laceyville, PA, son-in-law Eugene "Gene" C. Franklin of Laceyville, PA; grandson Mark Franklin of Laceyville, PA; great grandchildren MacKenzie Franklin of Laceyville, PA; and Brandon Franklin of Laceyville, PA. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Gertie Wygrala Farr Caswell of Laceyville, PA; friend Aaron Manney of Stevensville, PA; and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Marion is preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Kay Wygrala Franklin (June 7, 2007), sister Margaret Cervine, and brother Robert Stone.

A private service will be held at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, PA at the convenience of the family with family friend Pastor Richard Camp officiating. Interment will be held in the Lacey Street Cemetery following the private service.
