Mary Ann Mosier, age 80, of Wyalusing, PA passed away at the Guthrie Towanda Skilled Nursing Unit on Thursday evening, January 2, 2025.

Born on October 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George (d. 1987) and Louise Johnson Mosier (d. 2000).  Growing up on the family farm in Terrytown, Mary Ann attended Wyalusing High School and graduated with the class of 1962.

Mary Ann was a resident of Wyalusing for many years in her home on Marsh Street and was employed for 45 years cleaning houses and offices in the area.  The relationships she developed over those 45 years continued after retirement, as she kept in contact with many of those she worked for, especially the family of Kenneth and Caroline Taylor, who treated her as another member of their family.

When she wasn't taking care of her community, Mary Ann cherished time spent with her family.  She loved spending holidays with her sister, Onalee Robinson (James) and spoiling her niece, Jennifer Robinson Johnson (Mike) and nephews, Wade Robinson and Eric Robinson (Sara).  That tradition continued as she became a bonus grandma to great nieces and nephews, Morgan Robinson, Thomas, Heather, Jonny, and Zachary Johnson.  Their hearts are broken by the loss of their loving aunt.

Along with her sister Onalee, her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Larry Mosier (Jean); her sisters, Anita Swetter, Thelma Harvey (Vern), and Alice Rivera (Phil); and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Mosier.  She is also survived by her special friend and partner in crime, Norma Farrell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Mosier, George Mosier (Ann), Paul Mosier (Hila), Jack Mosier, Norris Mosier (Judy), and John Mosier; and her sister, Vera Mosier.

A Funeral Service for Mary Ann will be held at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA 18853 at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 with Pastor Mark King officiating.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
