Obituary

May E. Waldron, age 74, formally of Wyalusing, PA. passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 2, 2014 where she was a resident of the Bradford County Manor, in West Burlington twp., PA. May was born on June 2, 1939 in Phillipsburg, NJ., the daughter of the late Earl and Jennie (Young) Waldron. May worked at Little Brook Nursing Home and as a care taker of Lower Valley Union Cemetery in Califon, NJ, before moving to the Wyalusing (Browntown) area in 1975. She was employed at the Super Duper Market in Wyalusing as a meat cutter until it's closing and at Tiffany's Lamp in Black Walnut, PA.


May was a kind generous person who enjoyed gardening and growing roses. She made wooden clocks and crafts that she sold at various flea markets in the area. She also found great joy in spending the winters in Florida with her special fiend, Inez Smith.

Surviving are her sister Dolores Schubert of Middle Valley, NJ, five nieces, Karen and John Burd, Gwen and Gregory Cryan, Dolores May and Peter Yaple, Henrietta Campbell and Heide Ort, as well as two grand nephews, Jason Burd and John Burd.

It was May's wishes not to have calling hours or a funeral service. Graveside committal services will be at the convenience of the family, held at Lower Valley Union Cemetery, in Califon, NJ.
