McKenzie June Vanderpool, age 4, of 2007 Cornell Rd. Laceyville, PA. (Indian Hill), went home to be with her Savior, in the comfort of her home, on Friday March 7, 2014, surrounded by her family. McKenzie lost the battle with an inoperable brain tumor that infected her little body less than six months ago. Known to her family as Bubba Girl, she was a bright cheerful little girl full of life, that brightened everyone's day. Little Kenzie was born in Towanda, PA. on September 6, 2009, the daughter of Nicholas "Nick" and Kristy Dougal Vanderpool.
Kenzie always looked forward to attend Sunday School and the Awana Club every week at the Braintrim Baptist Church in Laceyville. She was enrolled in pre-school at the Wyalusing Children's Center, then later at the Sonbeam's Pre-Kindergarten, in Laceyville, PA., that she faithfully attended until she became ill. She loved to be surrounded by her large family and her many friends. Kenzie loved to play dress up, especially when she got to dress like a Princess. She also loved to play and watch Dora the Explorer, and absolutely loved the colors of purple and pink. Little Bubba always loved to be with her older sister, and her two older brothers, but it was her little baby sister, that she loved to help her mother with. Having a large back yard, with many toys, and a swing set, she would love to run and play, with her brothers and sisters. Bubba Girl was also an experienced four wheeler rider.
