Michael Patrick Flintjer, age 50, of Wyalusing, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 5, 2020, at his home.

Michael was born on June 11, 1970, in Queens, NY the son of Linda Morris and the late Michael Ross Flintjer. He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1989.  After high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served his country during the Gulf War.

He was currently employed with Arrow United.  He was also an electrician with Cargill for six years prior and previously he worked as contractor.

He was a member of member of the Knights of Columbus. Michael was a "Jack of All Trades".  It seemed as he always had a tool in his hand and he could fix anything.  He was an avid outdoorsman and survivalist.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gunsmithing.  Michael always dreamed of moving to Alaska.

Michael is survived by his children, Damon Flintjer of Dodge Center, MN and Saige Flintjer of Nichols, NY; his mother and step-father, Linda and Jim Morris of Pensacola, FL; his step-mother, Sharon Flintjer of San Marcos, CA; his siblings, Kristin Gonzales (Robert) of Ramstein, Germany and Christopher Flintjer of El Cajon, CA; his step-brothers, Jamie Morris of Philadelphia, PA and Jason Morris of Bradenton, FL; his special uncle, Jay Morris of Montoursville, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Flintjer.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  The family wishes to express their thanks for all that has reached out to them and asks that you celebrate Mike's life in a way that has meaning to you personally.
