Nancy M. Crisman, age 74, of 392 Woodland Way, Tunkhannock (Eaton Hills), PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, September 5, 2012 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock.
Nancy was born on March 4, 1938 in Meshoppen, PA the daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Purdy Tyler.
Growing up near Meshoppen she was a graduate of the Meshoppen High School class of 1956. Nancy was employed at Penns Best in Meshoppen retiring in 1996 as their Comptroller in the Accounting Department after working there for 16 years.
Nancy was a member of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church and the Retta United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Retta Birthday Club.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul E. Crisman, whom she married on September 15, 1956; her daughter Tammy Perry of Tunkhannock; her twin daughters Teresa Hennessy of S. Waverly, PA and Lisa Tesluk of Tunkhannock; her grandsons Paul Tesluk and Michael J. Tesluk both of Tunkhannock, Adam Hennessy of S. Waverly, and Ryan Perry of Tunkhannock; brothers Richard Tyler of North Carolina and Charlie Tyler of Wyalusing, PA; sister's in law Nancy Tyler of Meshoppen, Elaine Fuller and her husband William of Vestal, NY, and Mary Jane Crisman of Randor, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Isabelle Condor and her brothers Carlton Tyler, Lester Tyler, Levi Tyler, and Cyrus Tyler.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen, PA with Rev. Tom Mott of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Jersey Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
