Surrounded by her family at home on their farm, Patricia T. Duffield (87) of Spring Hill, PA entered peacefully into eternal life on Saturday morning, October 12, 2024.  She was born on September 23, 1937, in Doylestown, PA, the daughter of Rosner and Edith Whittock Triol.  Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Horace "Duff" Duffield.

She was a graduate of Pennridge High School in Perkasie, PA with the class of 1955.  Patricia was employed for many years by the Wyalusing Area School District at the Camptown Elementary School as a school cafeteria cook.  She also was previously employed as a bookkeeper and a caregiver for small children in her home.

Patricia was a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Wyalusing American Legion Auxiliary.

An avid follower of her children and grandchildren's activities, Pat rarely missed a school play, sporting event, concert, horse show, or any event that they were involved in.

Over the years, her family was the central part of her happiness and the time they spent together created many cherished memories for everyone in her life.  Pat loved to travel, read, knit, and play bingo.  Her dogs, Wrangler and Lilly, were her constant companions and source of joy for her.  She enjoyed watching her horses and hummingbirds from her recliner.

Pat will be sorely missed by her husband, Horace; children, Douglas (Penny) Duffield, Spring Hill, PA; Suzanne (Kyle) Robinson, Spring Hill, PA; Bonnie (Paul) Zipprich, Hop Bottom, PA; grandchildren, Ross (Maggie) Duffield Pipersville, PA; Jamie Duffield, Wyalusing, PA; Bryn (Nicole) Duffield, Bethlehem, PA; Theresa (Charles) Kivlen, Shavertown, PA; Kelly (Brock) Cahoon, Schwenksville, PA; Cody (Laura) Dunlap, Boyertown, PA; Clayton Brehm, Mehoopany, PA; Erin (Todd) Armitage, Wyalusing, PA; Kyle (Megan) Robinson, Wyalusing, PA; Paige (Matthew) Robinson, Painted Post, NY; Emma Zipprich, Hop Bottom, PA; Megan Zipprich, Hop Bottom, PA; Luke Zipprich, Hop Bottom, PA; great grandchildren, Bonnie Duffield, Bryce Armitage, Leigha Armitage, Alaina Robinson, Emerson Cahoon, Holly Dunlap, and Everett Brehm; and siblings, Bonnie Hayden, Will Triol, and Tom Triol.

She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Her warmth, laughter, big smile, and kindness had a lasting impact on everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rosner and Edith Triol, daughter, Helen Dunlap, and brother, Rosner Triol.

A Memorial Service for Pat will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Reverend Helen Learn of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church officiating.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  Interment will take place at a later date at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
