Patricia Ermel Magee, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

She was born in Tunkhannock on February 17, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Ermel and Violet Lukasavage Ermel.

On March 17, 1982, Patricia married her husband, James Magee. Following their marriage, Patricia and James would live on their farm on Edinger Hill Road in Laceyville, where she loved tending the land and became quite the farmer.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Magee of Edinger Hill; her three children; and her three step-children.

Besides her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy V. Kovalchick, Charles W. Ermel, and Leonard V. Ermel.

A Memorial Service will be held for Patricia on July 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Sheldon Funeral Homes, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA 18623, with Deacon Ray Pieretti of the Nativity BVM Church of Tunkhannock, officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to the time of the service.
