IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick
Sill
March 14, 1958 – October 15, 2021
Patrick M. Sill passed away peacefully into the everlasting arms of his Savior and King, Jesus Christ on October 15, 2021.
Pat passed away surrounded by his children and his Bride of 36 years, Jean Marie Sill in their Sun City Center home. Pat was 63 years old.
Pat fought a courageous battle with cancer and he remained faithful to accepting God's sovereign plan over his life. Pat loved God and was captivated by the grace, mercy, and forgiveness offered to him through the sacrifice of his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who knew Pat heard the words, "Praise the Lord" or "Hallelujah" come out of his mouth, but more importantly, come from his heart.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face, had an encouraging word to share, as he radiated the love of God.
Pat was born in Syracuse, NY on March 14, 1958. His parents, William Sill(deceased) and Ardena Sill of Tunkhannock, PA. Pat has four siblings: Michael Sill (and his wife Becky), Sue Sill, John Sill, and Barbara Gaylord (and her husband Aaron.)
Pat graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1976. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. Pat obtained a Business Certificate from Penn State University, through his employer, Cargill, Wyalusing, PA.
Pat is survived by his wife, his loving Bride of 36 years, Jean Marie (Klug) Sill. Pat is also survived by four children: Kristina Kirk, Rebecca Gayle, Matthew Sill (and his wife Erin), Josiah Sill (and his wife Jessica).
Pat also is survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 grandsons & 5 granddaughters all of whom he prayed for daily. He is also survived by cousins, Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pat was a "Jack of All Trades" and worked many jobs over his lifetime. He worked for Buck Stoves, The Timken Co. both in Colorado Springs, CO; Taylor Packing which became Cargill, Wyalusing, PA; and his last employer was Amazon TPA1 Ruskin, FL. No matter where Pat was employed, he worked as unto the Lord! He had a strong work ethic and he was a great team player.
Pat delighted in fixings things. He had a love of motor sports, especially drag racing (NHRA). He loved heavy equipment and he enjoyed all types of music, especially Christian praise and worship. As Pat would tell you, worship isn't just what happens on Sunday mornings...it is a 24/7 thing.
Pat attended Grace Fellowship Church, Tunkhannock, PA. There he served as an Elder and enjoyed leading worship on the Church's worship team. He has attended and worshipped with the saints in Riverview, FL, the former River of Life (now Reach City Church) as well as attending and worshipping with the saints at Arise Church, SouthShore, Ruskin, FL.
Pat has served the Lord on Mission trips also. He went to Mexico to help build an orphanage and to Honduras, offering his mechanical skills to the Christian hospital, Loma de Luz. Pat loved serving God by serving others.
He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Until we meet again, rest in peace our precious Pat, Son, Brother, Daddy, Grandpa, and my precious Beloved Husband.
A Memorial Service will be held for Pat on Friday, November 26 at 2:00 PM from the Grace Fellowship Church on 155 Bridge St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
