Paul David Collins, age 49, of Meshoppen, PA passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

He was born in Scranton on January 27, 1973 the son of Earl D. Collins and Sharon J. Nulton Collins.

Paul had various jobs through the years.  He worked for many cleaning companies at the Proctor & Gamble Plant in Mehoopany, a tree service in Montrose, and a janitor at the Montrose Hospital.

He was a loving father, uncle, brother, and friend.  Paul was a great chess player and taught many to play.  He loved to do his own cooking and make various recipes from items in his garden.  Paul was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and spent time with his nieces and nephews teaching them anything and everything he could.

Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Warfle Collins, and his son, Bryan Gerald Johnson.  He is also survived by his four sisters, Susan Collins Tiffany (Phillip) of Montrose, PA, Julie Collins Lech (Jason) of Peckville, PA, Lisa Collins Proof (Larry) of Montrose, PA and  Sherry Collins Doble (Thomas) of Clarks Summit, PA; his mother, Sharon Nulton Collins of Meshoppen, PA; his father, Earl Collins of New Milford, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Paul will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 6:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Reverend John May, Sr. officiating.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
