Pauline "Paula" A. Sonnay of Tunkhannock, PA passed away Sunday morning, December 8, 2024 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born on July 18, 1957 in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Alfred Louis Sonnay, Jr. (d. March 14, 1987) and Nancy Rolph Sonnay (d. May 10, 2010).  She was a graduate of Irvington High School: Frank H. Morrell Campus in New Jersey with the class of 1975.

Throughout her working career she spent most of her time as a Home Health Aide in New Jersey.  Paula was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and a life-long Tweety Bird Fan.  She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.

Paula is survived by her son, Ryan Sonnay and his wife, Melody of Summit Hill, PA; many grandchildren; and her brother, Alfred Louis Sonnay, III of North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
