Obit for Randy Paul Lutz (age 50)
Randy Paul Lutz, age 50, of Overton Rd., New Albany, PA., passed away at Towanda Memorial Hospital, Towanda, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He was born in Towanda, PA. on December 27, 1962, the son of Donna Brown Lutz, of Mehoopany, PA., and the late William Lutz Sr. who passed away on April 8, 2004.
Randy graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School in 1982. He worked for Daniels Construction upon graduation, and went on to run a stone company for many years. Recently, he just returned from working at the Daytona 500 NASCAR Race. He always enjoyed building things and spending time with those he loved.
Perhaps Randy's greatest gift was his generous nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking them to special places like Green Bay Packer games in Wisconsin and concerts. He was always out-going and made friends easily. Randy enjoyed life and relished living it to the fullest.
Besides his mother, Randy is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, the former LindaVanLuvanee Lutz, whom he married on Oct. 10, 1993. His four step-children; Roxane Marino, of Ben Salem, PA; Shawn Burkhart, of Florida; and Matthew and James VanLuvanee, both of New Albany, PA; and a step-grandchild, Xander Marino, of Ben Salem, PA. He is also survived by his brother, William and Kathy Lutz of Wyalusing, PA; and his sister, Denise and Tim DeLamarter, of South Auburn, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, William Lutz, Sr., and his grandparents; George and Florence Lutz and James and Elsie Brown.
A Memorial Service for Randy will be held at the South Auburn United Methodist Church, in South Auburn, PA. at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, with his nephew Zechariah Lutz, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
Arrangements were made through the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA.
