Raymond Louis Belcher Sr "John" passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2022 with his family by his side.

He was 83 years old, born on March 27th, 1938 in Sussex, New Jersey to his late parents Zenas "John" and Alma Belcher.

John was a truck driver for forty-seven years doting the nickname "Carrot Top". He was also an auto mechanic for many years. One would say he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting/working on tractors in his spare time. John also enjoyed having morning coffee with the boys: Lance, Rusty, Glenn, and Phil at the local spot in Mehoopany.

He is survived by his three children: Malinda Belcher- Gleason (Tunkhannock, PA), Raymond Belcher Jr (Mehoopany, PA), and Eugene Belcher (Princeton, NC). He is also survived by his four loving grandchildren: Savannah, Justice, Vincent, and Lindsay whom he adored.

John's services will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at Sheldon Funeral Home, 8206 Main St., Meshoppen, PA. His call hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Charles Bishop. Interment at Jersey Hill Cemetery.
