Obituary
Richard Neil Mosher, age 74, of Meshoppen, PA, passed away Monday evening, February 20, 2017 at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.
Richard was born on March 9, 1942 in Hop Bottom, PA the son of the late Howard L. and Mildred Sepovich Mosher. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964. He was a paratrooper and sharpshooter. He helped with the paratrooper training of Iran soldiers. After his military service, Richard was a long-haul truck driver for various businesses. He traveled all over the country. Richard enjoyed gardening, fishing, and listening to audio books from the Tunkhannock Public Library.
He is survived by his sister Jean Kavka and her husband Frank of Meshoppen, PA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Mosher.
A private family service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
