Obituary
Robert "Bob" George Foux, age 69, of New Albany, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2105 at his summer residence in Sugar Run, PA.
Bob was born on March 10, 1946 in Mehoopany, PA the son of the late Nathan "Dick" and Catherine Wright Foux.
He was employed with Benton Foundry as a Grinder for over 20 years before retiring in 2008.
When he was younger his passion was to be a farmer. Bob enjoyed to hunt, fish, and camp along the Susquehanna River in Sugar Run each summer with his wife, Catherine "Kitty" Foux, who he married on March 30, 1996. He loved Dink, his dog, and he thoroughly enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kitty Foux of their home; children Bobbi Jo Benton (Duane Sr.) of Martin City, MT, Melinda Alderson (James) of LeRaysville, PA, Levi Foux (Laura) of Sugar Run, PA, and Charles Warfle, Jr. (Roxanne) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren Samantha, Shawn, Tiffany, Monica, Jeremy, Lissa Jo, Shylynn, Austin, Bradley, Miranda, Krista, Daija, Joshua, Violet, Bastian, Annabel, Abigail, and Kinsley; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Nathan "Paul" Foux of Avoca, PA, Elaine "Faye" Rickaby of Connecticut, Mona Walker of Connecticut, Catherine Mayo of Massachusetts, Graceanne Winkler (David) of Binghamton, NY, Rollin "Ronnie" Foux, Sr. of Maine, and Connie Houle (Ronald) of Florida; many nieces and nephews; and his special four legged companion, Dink. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson Duane Benton, Jr., sister Maggie Turcotte, and brother Duane Foux.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 12:00 noon from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with the Reverend Dr. Barry Ballard of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in New Albany, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bob's name to the Bradford County Human Society, PO Box 179, Ulster, PA 18850.
