Robert "Rob" William Barth III, age 31, of Harding, PA, formerly of Laceyville, PA, passed unexpectedly away on October 12, 2017.

Rob was born on April 26, 1986 in Tunkhannock, PA, the son of Robert Barth Jr. and Candy (Repsher) Card. Rob graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School with the Class of 2005. After completing high school he attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology for one year. For the last several years Rob was employed in the gas industry and more recently worked as a truck driver in the gas industry.

Rob was an outgoing young man. He loved his friends and family. He was the proud father of Rowan Willow Barth-Gris. He loved and adored his daughter very much. He loved, and he was very much loved. He had an infectious smile and loved life. Rob loved anything automotive. He loved his cars and big trucks. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Rob loved his family very much and will be truly missed.

Rob is survived by his daughter, Rowan Willow Barth-Gris and mother of his daughter Sara Gris of Clarks Summit, PA; mother Candy Card and her husband Richard of Laceyville, PA; father Robert William Barth Jr. and his wife Kathy of Harding, PA; brother Tyler Card (Kristine) of Laceyville, PA; sister Jessica Card of Laceyville, PA; step-brother Bobby Schoonover of Dupont, PA; maternal grandparents Milton and Neta Repsher of Laceyville, PA; paternal grandfather Robert William Barth Sr. of Scranton, PA; step-grandparents Richard and Betty Card and Patricia Fisher. Also surviving are numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Rob was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Patricia Ann Barth; maternal great-grandparents Cecil and Pearl Repsher; paternal great-grandparents Paul and Betty Barth; and special aunt Nicole Repsher.

Funeral services for Rob will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 12:00 noon, at the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church with Lay Minister Vicki Ellis and step-father Pastor Richard Card officiating. Interment will follow at Beaver Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday night, October 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM as well as on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
