Rosemarie Hunsinger Crawford, age 81, of Sugar Run, PA passed away on Friday afternoon, May 12, 2023 at he Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.

Rosemarie was born on January 9, 1942 in Towanda, PA the daughter of the late Donald Eugene and Edna Ellen Pierce Hunsinger.

She attended Towanda High School. She met and married James Bippley and moved to California. She obtained her Nursing Degree and became a Cardiac Nurse at the Grossmont Hospital. She returned to Pennsylvania in 1977 and obtained a job at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA in the Cardiac Unit. She later transferred to the Dialysis Unit and worked there until she retired on December 31, 1995.

Rosemarie married Lewis "Butch" Crawford, Jr. on May 25, 1995. After her retirement from nursing, she assisted Butch and his son, Clint, with their business Crawford Septic Services.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, going to the casino, and especially chatting with friends and neighbors over a good cup of coffee.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Lewis "Butch" Crawford, Jr.; her sons and spouses, Shawn and Lilly Bippley of Zebulon, NC and Chris and Karon Bippley of Buckley, AZ; her step-children and spouses, Clint and Karon Crawford of Sugar Run, PA, Cassandra and Nick Magyar of Effort, PA, and Jamie and Skeet MacNelley of Laceyville, PA; her sisters, Doris and Gary Maxwell of Sugar Run, PA and Laura Stephenson of Sayre, PA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as her special friend, Tracy Parsons. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Hunsinger and Richard Hunsinger, and her sister, Mary Hunsinger Harding.

A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
