Stephen Goldblatt, age 89, of Towanda PA (formerly of Morristown, NJ) passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Guthrie Skilled Nursing in Towanda, PA.

Steve was born on June 21, 1935 in Morristown, NJ, the son of the late Ann (Schlossman) Goldblatt and Lewis Goldblatt. He married Suzy (Lawless) Goldblatt on February 9, 1963.

Steve was a graduate of Morristown High School and attended Delaware Valley College for several years before returning to tend to family after his father passed away. Steve was an old-school salesman working in various industries (life insurance to restaurant equipment).  He spent over a decade servicing equipment for Morris County's Board of Elections.

After retirement Steve enjoyed relaxing, spending time with family, gardening, attending sporting events, going for coffee and no less than one breakfast each morning, and taking long drives with Suzy.

Steve is survived by his children, Adam Goldblatt (Peggy) of Raleigh, NC; Stacey Tiniakos (Robert) of Bethlehem, PA; Lisa Shaffer (Rob) of New Albany, PA; and Michael Goldblatt (Sharmella Watts) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Zoli, Emily, Kyle, Justin, Matty, Josh, Sami, Jake, and Micah; two great grandchildren, Dexter and Jace, and his siblings, Elizabeth Shapiro (Bruce) of Lebanon, NJ and Judy Sisselman of Parksville, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death his beloved wife Suzy and their infant daughter, Melissa Goldblatt.

A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from the Beth Israel Cemetery, Cedar Knolls, NJ with Rabbi Michael Satz of the Temple B'nai Or officiating.
