Susan V. Sane, age 68, of West Auburn, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at her home.

Susan was born on April 8, 1958, in Montrose, PA. She was the daughter of the late Glenn V. (d. September 7, 2003) and Betty J. Carter Squier (d. November 7, 2016). She was a graduate of Elk Lake High School with the class of 1976.

Sue was employed for many years at Carter’s Market in Black Walnut, PA. She had also worked for MetLife, Young’s Restaurant, the Wyalusing Hotel, Dandy Mini Marts, and the Rought Hall American Legion throughout her life.

Sue a very artistic and crafty woman as it especially showed in her paintings She liked tending to her garden of flowers. Sue loved nature and animals in particular her cats.

She is survived by her siblings, Christina Salsman of Meshoppen, PA, Leah Emmons of Tunkhannock, PA, and Jean Seamans of Nicholson, PA; her special niece, Mayra Maldonado and her husband, Matthew Timm of Montrose, PA; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Cheryl Crayton, Robin Smith, and Richard Squier.

Abiding by Sue’s wishing there will not be services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Susan’s name to True Friends Animal Welfare Center, 16332 SR 706, Montrose, PA 18801.
