Suzanne "Suzie" Lynn Hallock, age 49, of Wyalusing, PA, formally of Meshoppen, PA, passed away unexpectedly at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, Friday morning, November 18, 2022.

Suzie was born in Tunkhannock, PA, on February 2, 1973 the daughter of the late Joseph F. Hallock who passed away on October 5, 1984, and Shirley Mae Harvey Hallock who passed away on September 30, 2008.

Growing up and living in Meshoppen for many years, Sue attended the Elk Lake High School, a member of the class of 1991. Growing up in a very large family, Suzie was a loving sister and a friend to many. She had a big heart that only a few understood. When Suzie walked into a room, you knew you were going to dance, laugh or RUN…, she loved to sing, especially Janis Joplin's "Bobby McGee", she always had a way of making people happy.

Sue was a jack of all trades, but then found her own true love in landscaping. She started her own business called, "One Squaw Does It All", she enjoyed stone work, but flowers were her favorite. Her clients would say "she did the work of 3 men". She loved what she did.

Suzie had two beautiful children, Nichole D. Bowman, of Factoryville, PA, and Carl (PJ) E. Wilcox, of Nanticoke, PA. Sue is also survived by her husband Robert B. Schantz, with whom she loved with her whole heart. Suzie was also the sister to, Jean (Warren) Light, of The Villages, FL; Georgia (Arthur) Ball, of Tunkhannock, PA; Robin Abrams, of Marshall, MN; George (Tracey) Miller, of Waverly, NY; Jennie Hallock, of Meshoppen, PA; and Joseph (Melodi) Hallock, of Meshoppen, PA. Sue is survived by many, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Beside her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Korah Mae Visavati, who passed away on October 26, 2019.

Suzie feared nothing and walked her own line, she will truly be missed and loved forever by all.

Memorial services for Suzie, will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
