Theodore "Ted" Pops" E. Hutchinson, age 67, of Black Walnut, PA (formerly Meshoppen) passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at his home.

Ted was born on March 20, 1954 in Lyons, NY the son of the late Roy and Virginia Green Hutchinson.

He was employed as a farmer on the Blaisure Farm in Meshoppen.  He then began his truck driving career with Smokey Burgess.  He later worked with Penn's Best as a truck driver then in the mechanic garage.  He was also employed with Charlie McCarthy, in Meshoppen.

Ted loved to drive his motorcycle.  He was also a member of motorcycle clubs in the area.  He enjoyed to throw a few back with his family and friends.  He loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Sharee Baker, of Meshoppen, PA; his grandchildren, Jared Kirchner and his wife, Emily, of Meshoppen, Ryan Tuttle of Meshoppen, and Shayleigh Baker of Meshoppen; his great-grandchildren, Aubree and McKinley Kirchner of Meshoppen; his siblings, David Hutchinson of Leesburg, FL; James Hutchinson of Leesburg, FL, Zenus J. Hutchinson of Green Castle, PA, Tammy Foley of Green Castle, PA, Pamela Card of Alabama, Barb Theriault of Alabama, and Kathleen Hutchinson of Shortsville, NY; his ex-wife, Susan Kelley (Cameron) of Meshoppen; his mother-in-law, Margaret Carney of Meshoppen; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Betty Stephenson; his sisters, Ann Bliss, Deborah Barker, and Zena Hutchinson; and his father-in-law, Robert C. Carney, Sr.

A Graveside Service will be held for Ted on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Carney Cemetery in Mehoopany, PA with Reverend Gary Myers officiating.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Susan and Cameron Kelley's campsite at 293 Boufin Lane, Laceyville, PA (off of Lacey Street).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Ted's name to the Meshoppen Ambulance Association, PO Box 118, Meshoppen, PA  18630.
