IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas J.
Pervis
July 22, 1952 – May 17, 2023
Thomas J. Pervis, 70, a longtime resident of New Albany, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
He was the son of the late John and Rose (DiGuiseppe) Pervis. Tom's formative years were spent in Royersford, PA. He graduated from Spring-Ford High School.
After graduating from high school, he began a career with the Pennsylvania Game Commission. That is how he would eventually meet his future wife of 36 years, Barbara, after they were both assigned to the same location.
To say Tom was an avid outdoorsman is an understatement. He had a passion for hunting, archery, and most of all fly fishing. Over the years, Tom was always willing to share his knowledge and techniques of hunting and fly fishing. He enjoyed teaching friends the art of fly tying.
He is survived by three children, Lonnie "P.J." Wiseman of Boyertown, PA, Susan Wiseman, wife of Jason Kring, of Douglassville, PA, and Ernestine "Tina", wife of William Beaver, of Bechtelsville, PA; a younger brother, Perry, of Royersford, PA; and three grandchildren, Amber, Billy, and Brianna. Besides he parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, in 2021.
In honor of Tom's wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, Tom would have appreciated donations be made to an animal shelter of one's choosing.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA. Online condolences may be made at www.SheldonFuneralHomes.com.
