IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy Mark
Dymond
June 27, 1968 – November 13, 2025
Timothy “Tim” Mark Dymond passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Tunkhannock, PA on November 13, 2025 at the age of 57.
Tim was born in Tunkhannock, PA on June 27, 1968. He was the son of the late Dorothy Anne Allen Dymond (d. October 24, 2018) and William Roger Dymond (d. October 4, 2012). He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Lobmaster (d. 2004) and brother, William “Billy” Dymond (d. 2020).
An accomplished electrician and truly proficient in all trades, Tim was the kind of man who could fix anything. His generosity knew no limits. He gave his time, skill and heart freely. Especially to his best friend, Paul. The two shared a bond as strong as brotherhood, a connection built over years of loyalty, laughter, and unspoken understanding.
Tim was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand. More recently, he found even greater joy in teaching his beloved wife, Shelley, the sport he so treasured.
Known for his sharp mind, Tim was often the smartest person in the room, and he proved it regularly with his love of trivia and quick-witted intellect.
He looked forward to playing pool at his home where he would let Ron win one or two and gave Shelley and Paul a run.
Tim was as tough as he was wounded, shaped by battle few ever saw. Yet he never gave in and never gave up—except, of course, when it came to his wife! Their love was intense, imperfect and unmistakably real. They loved and fought with a passion that only true soulmates can understand.
Tim is survived by his wife, Shelley Dymond; his daughters, Hannah and Naomi; his sons, Matthew and Cecil; his beloved sister, Jennifer “Jenny” Dymond-Flanigan (Jerry); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tim leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and generosity. He was a man who helped others without ever needing recognition, loved deeply even when it hurt, and lived with more heart than ever admitted. A true husband and father and friend. We will miss you forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
