It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tisha Renea Shaw, 18, who left us too soon on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Tisha was born on April 24, 2006 in Bristol, PA the daughter of George and Tricia R. Lipinski Shaw of Wyalusing, PA.  She was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School and the Northern Tier Career Center with the class of 2024.

She was employed by Connie's Supermarket in Wyalusing, PA throughout high school and New Legacy Ford in Dushore, PA .

Tisha was a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, dedicating her time to supporting others and striving to break down stigmas. She had a creative mind and was wonderful at drawing pictures.  She had a dream of becoming a mechanic, with ambitions of racing cars—her eyes would light up at the thought of working with engines and feeling the thrill of speed. Her hands were as deft with tools as they were with a violin, an instrument she played beautifully and with great emotion. In her downtime, she found joy in playing video games.

Tisha is survived by her parents, George and Tricia Shaw of Wyalusing; her boyfriend Blake Manning; her siblings, George Shaw, Jr., David Shaw, Michael Shaw, and Erick Heimbach; her aunts and uncles, Frannie and Alan Yeager, Robert Flor, and Susan Cherkis; and cousins, Tyler Andress, Nicholas Maiatico, Cassandra Maiatico, Dillon Cherkis and Olivia Cherkis.  She was preceded in death by her brother, John Shaw.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tisha's honor to mental health organizations, continuing the work she was so passionate about.
