Vicki Zaner Ruhf, age 57, of Laceyville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home.

Vicki was born on June 8, 1960 in Towanda, PA, the daughter of the late William L. Zaner Sr., who passed away on April 9, 2015 and Connie Karschner Zaner, who passed away on June 28, 2003. Vicki was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the Class of 1978. After high school she worked at Super Duper Market in Wyalusing, PA for two years. Vicki also worked at Taylor Beef (Cargill) for approximately 20 years, Dandy Mini Mart in Wyalusing and Laceyville, Cameron International in Laceyville and Mansfield for over four years, and lastly she worked for Ruhf's Livestock as a herdswoman and bartender.

On July 4, 2009, she married the love of her life Sike Ruhf at their home on Spring Hill. Vicki loved tending to her garden and being outside. She could always been seen mowing her lawn. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking. She might not have admitted it but she enjoyed cleaning as well. Vicki was a social media butterfly, and always stayed on top of what was happening on Facebook. But most of all Vicki was a family woman, who loved her family very much. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was looking forward to her next great-grandchild, expected to arrive in November of 2017.

Besides her husband of 8 years, Vicki is survived by her children Chris and Tammy Ruhf of Montrose, PA; Chad and Danielle Ruhf of Laceyville, PA; grandchildren Justin and Kristyn Ruhf of South Boston, VA; Cassie and Caleb Belcher of Camptown, PA; Benjamin Ruhf of Laceyville, PA; Bailey Ruhf of Laceyville, PA; great-grandchildren Zoey Ruhf, Cara Belcher, Jax Belcher, and Miah Belcher. Also surviving are her siblings Scott and Donna Zaner of Tunkhannock, PA; John and Mary Anne Zaner of Laceyville, PA; William Jr. and Jennifer Zaner of Quakertown, PA; mother-in-law Mae Ruhf of Lawton, PA; aunt Joyce Fisk of Richboro, PA; extended family including many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Bertha Sheldon (September 7, 2006) and step-mother Myrtle Delores Zaner (March 8, 2014).

Funeral services for Vicki will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sheldon Funeral Homes, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Reverend Charles Bishop, who had the honor of marrying Sike and Vicki. Interment will be held at Rush Cemetery at a later date in accordance with the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
