Ward Boote, 90, of Tuscarora Township, PA died on Sunday, February 28, 2021 following a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure.

Born on October 15, 1930 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late W.E. Boote and Ella (Carter) Boote formerly of Silver Spring, MD.  Following the demise of his mother, he became the step-son of Jaqueline Hodnett Boote, late, formerly of Marlow, OK.  He attended school in Maryland and graduated from high school in the nearby District.  He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Williamsport, PA.

Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Louann Grove Boote at home; his sister, Marquerite Quinby (Boote) Farnan of Maryland; his sister-in-law, Linda Grove of Marietta, GA; and several nephews and nieces, mostly in Maryland.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn (Boote) Rosen and her husband Harris formerly of Edgewater, MD.

There will be no funeral.  Following cremation, the earthly remains will be interred at the convenience of the family in the Ackley – Spring Hill Cemetery.
